Much better than the Dayton Mall. Helps that they have limited bus service. Fairly easy to get in and out of even with heavy traffic. Plenty of development close by, so you can find pretty much anything you want. Lots of dining options nearby. Melt Bar and Grilled is a favorite connected to the mall. Lots of parking.
The best mall around the Dayton area. You're least likely to get your car stolen, get abducted, or be mugged here probably. There's a fairly good variety of stores, but probably over 70% of them are pop culture, jewelry, shoes, and clothing. Which, what else do most people go to malls for these days, right? Just a heads up. The food court is a really good size in ratio to the mall and there's new restaurants just built in front of the mall attatched, as well as tons within walking distance just across the access road from it, but not all of them are anything to write home about. There are some pretty great places though.
I’m still new to this mall and learning the layout. I sure wish they had maps up in more places - I couldn’t find one at all! But there’s plenty of parking and different entrances depending on where you want to go. This seems like a popular mall based on the crowds I’ve seen on A Friday night during the holiday season.
Went to Sears & food court. Sears is a shell of woe. Nowhere in store did it "shout" Merry Christmas. Oh, it had holiday greetings but store lacked the merchandise to greet the needs of the holiday shoppers. Food court was lackluster. Not a lot to shout about. Mom's & kids & fast food.
You can find some of the usual shoots you might expect - Macy’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Victoria’s Secret, American Eagle, Hallmark, Yankee Candle, etc. but I did see a couple empty shop fronts....hopefully those will be open in the future.
Went to JC Pennies first and got a wallet. It was the day after Christmas and although the selection had obviously shrunk I was able to find a nice one. The cashier was nice and helped me figure out the code for my gift card which I nearly scratched off at checkout. Next I went to Best Buy Mobile to get a new phone car charger. The fella who greeted me was nice and helpful. Mall was crowded but still got out with only a small head ache.
